We had an enjoyable evening. Food was good. We all enjoyed our meal. Vegan stuffed squash ratatouille, with herbs, rice, etc. I'm grateful for a real meal, but I think it needed to be on a base of some beans. Fried chicken with dill pickles with buttermilk ranch dip was delicious and tender, collard greens were packed with flavor. Miso marinated black Cod with mushrooms and red lentil puree was enjoyed. All delish! Bar decor is chic and stylish. Not too noisy on a Sunday night. Small place with limited seating. Great ambiance. Service was perfect. Sign was tiny. At a nearby table, we saw a Absinthe fountain(!?), which looked fascinating! On my agenda! Helpful?

Pretty to think so is a great dining option in Rhinebeck with an interesting menu of food and drinks, and a great vibe. The seating is limited, and creates an intimate space. Our seats offered a great view of the bar where the bartender was creating magnificent cocktails and it was delightful to see her in action! The food was generally excellent. The honey roasted carrots were our favorite, and the roasted chicken was also very good. The sweet corn risotto didn't appear very appetizing but the dish itself was delicious. The blood orange Moscow Mule was also good. The Shrimp cocktail was also quite good! All in all, we had a great experience and would highly recommend it!

During a weekend trip, I chose to have my birthday dinner here, drawn by the farm-to-table concept. The food was scrumptious, I had the hanger steak and was pleasantly surprised by how tender it was. My sister ordered the fried green tomato, which was unexpectedly delicious. We also shared the truffle risotto, which was creamy and perfectly seasoned. For dessert, we had the olive oil cake with a scoop of gelato and Moroccan mint tea, a perfect way to end a wonderful dinner. The space is modern and beautifully decorated, though I wished there had been a bit more lighting so I could’ve admired the food more. They played a wide range of musical genres, which added to the atmosphere. To top it off, I received a birthday card with our check—a sweet and thoughtful gesture.

We visited this restaurant during our stay for the NYSSW Festival. We popped in last minute and asked if we could grab a quick dessert to eat outside on a Friday night. The friendly fellow that greeted us seated us right away in the most wonderful outdoor space...the ambience was AMAZING and the dessert was some of the best we've ever had! We loved the service, food, and atmosphere so much that we made a reservation for the following night and had a full meal with dessert and an insanely good bottle of wine. Our waitress was super sweet, too! We can't wait to return for an excellent experience next year! Thank you for helping make our visit to Rhinebeck a wonderful memory!!! Kudos to Pretty to Think So!!! I also forgot to add that my family was SO HAPPY to use the wash room and find a fragrance-free, non-toxic soap for hand-washing! This tells us that this restaurant is very considerate of others! We are a chemical sensitive family so this was a HUGE HUGE bonus!!! Thank you and keep up the excellent work!!!

How did I not know about this place until a month or so ago??? We went for dinner on my husband's birthday, and everything was so good. We (he) was hungry, so we had multiple appetizers, two entrees, and shared a dessert, and we had multiple cocktails. The space is dark and quite cozy, not large, and there's a really nice, big bar. We sat at a table for two, kind of near the entrance, and the only complaint I would mention is that it was a little bit cold in the restaurant initially, and there are better places to sit than near the front door, so you could request a better table if you make a reservation. Other than that, the service was wonderful, the cocktails were really interesting, and I ended up drinking a couple of cocktails with liquors in them that I normally would not choose, but they were delicious. This restaurant is a little different in that they put more emphasis on seafood and caviar in some of their dishes - if you look at their menu, you will see. There were plenty of non-meat appetizers, and the main dishes were a little more limited, but I think there would be something for everyone (we stick to seafood and vegetables). I would definitely eat here again - beautiful ambiance, wonderful service, terrific cocktails, and really good food!

To say we had an "incredible" experience would be an understatement; what we encountered was pure perfection. From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in an ambiance that felt both sophisticated and warmly inviting. The wait staff were absolutely phenomenal. Their recommendations were spot-on. We began with the caviar frites, roasted bone marrow with steak tartare and scallop crudo. For the mains we enjoyed the local half chicken and lamb shank. Words cannot do this establishment justice. The pictures speak for themselves.
